If you look back on when luo feng first encountered them they were difficult to deal with. I don't read the novel myself but was told earlier what actually happened in the novel with Xu Xin. To be honest, I think they went the best route possible with how they took this part of the story. The reason for this is because advertising suicide may put idea's in peoples heads and any future suicides may be attributed to that content if it was released. I've seen it happen before with a movie that was banned in my country because of someone who suicided by jumping in front of a train.
